And the performance is there. On benchmarks like SWE-bench Pro, GLM 5.2 goes toe-to-toe with the closed frontier at a fraction of the cost.

How migration works

If you're using the OpenAI or Anthropic SDK, point your base URL at api.melious.ai, drop in your Melious API key, and you're done. Same interface, European infrastructure underneath. For Claude Code and the Anthropic SDK, it's two environment variables. The Melious CLI handles setup for you if you prefer that. Everything you already have stays. Zero data retention.

What's under the hood

The subscription works with 20+ coding tools and gives you the current model (GLM 5.2) plus every open-weight flagship that follows, with no rewrites when the model swaps. Your data stays in Europe. We don't store it and we don't train on it. GDPR by design, ISO-certified servers, and ready for the EU AI Act.

Verda backs the coding subscription with NVIDIA B300s in Finland and Sweden. OVH and Clever Cloud are also in our provider pool, so the subscription isn't tied to one hardware vendor.

Why we built it

We talked to developers and CTOs who kept hitting the same wall. Their AI provider locked them out of a region, their DPO blocked US cloud, and their self-hosted GPU setup cost more in time and money than a subscription ever would. They wanted something that works and stays in Europe without locking them in.

So we built that.
