We bring together the fragmented pieces of European infrastructure into a single, accessible platform. On top of it, we run the best open-weight models available and go far beyond just running models, providing everything you need to integrate AI into your business, fully sovereign and true to our values. As open-weight models continue to evolve, so do we. Our team is developing the systems that push their capabilities even further, making European AI a choice without compromise.

Our story

How it started

It started with a simple question: Why is Europe building its AI future on American infrastructure?

In late 2024, our CEO Simon first ran into this while integrating AI in sensitive environments. He started shaping the idea, set the spark, and brought it to the team. Together, we founded Melious in summer 2025 and built the foundation for what it is today.

What started as an idea in the southwest of Germany quickly turned into action. Four founders, each bringing something different to the table.
